Don’t Bother With A Yard Sale: Go Online
Jul 1st
As we grow older we accumulate more stuff. When my stuff started to overflow I had to find ways to get rid of the excess. It is hard to throw perfectly useful items that I spent money on into the trash. And it is a hassle to have a yard sale. There is a ton of work required to have a successful sale and everything is dependent upon the weather. So I turned to ecommerce to get rid of the things I no longer wanted. Armed with my digital camera, I took pictures of the items and listed them on Craigslist for sale. For the things that really were not worth anything, I found an organization called freecycle that lets people offer items that others might have a use for without involving any money. The only trouble I had with Craigslist was the scammers who told me that they wanted to buy something and were really just trying to steal my money. It took a little time, but I was able to clear out my shed and my attic of all the extra stuff and was able to put a little(not a lot) of money into my pocket while doing it. There was no mess to cleanup after the items were gone, and now I’m ready to start a new collection since I have the room.
