When I purchased my new laptop I didn’t expect to go through a horrifying nightmare. The salesman at the shop had assured me that if there was any problem with the laptop he would service it free of cost and he gave me a warranty certificate for one year After a couple of months I found that there was a problem with the battery and it was not charging as a result I had to power it to a plug whenever I used it. So I took it to the shop from where I had purchased it but the shop keeper refused to entertain my complaint. Luckily my best friend is a member of a well known consumer protection group so I contacted him and told him about my problem. He asked me to make an application stating the nature of my complaint and attach all invoices and warranty certificate which was given to me during the time of purchase. I handed all these things to him and after a month I received a judgment from the consumer court in my favor.
