May 22nd
Bike maintenance is not only about cleaning your bike on regular basis and getting it serviced when the service card says that it is due, but it is about putting in little efforts to make sure that the driving as well as maintaining the bike does not affect you much. Battery is one of crucial elements of the bikes body and here are few tips for the bike riders to maintain them. While cleaning the body, ensure that the ignition switch unit, H.T. Coil and silencer are covered using plastic sheets. The motorcycle battery needs frequent maintenance to ensure a long battery life. Ensure that the electrolyte level are against the top and bottom markings on the battery shell. Always top up with distilled water whenever required. If there are any leakages from the battery, it needs immediate attention. Use a rust free spray to avoid rust on the battery’s shell. Even when the bikes are not used, make sure that the battery is kept fully charged.
Motorcycle Custom Painting
Aug 29th
When I was in high school in the late seventies people where fixing up work vans (that’s all there was at the time). Painting them up with wild murals, putting carpeting, beds and refrigerators in them.
There where many magazines that showed many different custom conversions. The paint jobs really caught my eye. I began airbrushing in art class between projects. My dad was a sign painter and he had one even though I never seen him use it and I started practicing at home also.
I painted a few of my vehicles, wide band stripes with patterns in them, flames and murals. Vans began to be done by shops that converted them in production. Then the manufacturers started making conversion vans. They lost their individuality.
I am particularly interested in motorcycle custom painting now. I have made a website for people interested in getting their motorcycles painted to send me their parts, paint4cycles.com.
Should You Go Back With Your Old Motorcycle Tool Bag?
Jun 30th
Probably this is the worst type of decision that you will ever make. I mean, when it comes to life, there are just those things that aren’t fixable. Like that old saying from my uncle goes. You can’t fix a broken wing, my friend! Likewise, your experience should tell you the problems when you go back on something that is trashed and something that gives you pain in your life. One, it will fail again. Second, you will have problems on using it. And 3rd, its such a headache to mend something that you can’t really mend at all. On finding bags this should be a golden rule for you. And that’s why I suggest you pick bags that will last a lifetime. I’m talking about the motorcycle tool bag. Yes, you should realize that these bags are so amazing. Just one use of it and you’ll never be wanting to back on that old bag.
