It is one of those days that I just want to stay home and wallow in self-pity. I think today is one of the lowest days I have ever felt in my entire life. What happened? Well, my fiance and I just called off the wedding. Not that we thought of just postponing it, we decided to break up. I guess I should be saying ex-fiance, right? Oh well.
I have been with this guy for almost ten years. Ten long years! We literally grew together and we really thought we would be spending the rest of our lives together. Apparently, I was wrong. I guess some things are just not meant to last a lifetime.
Thankfully, I have some time off to call in sick. Good thing there is this sales order management software that keeps me updated on what is going on at work. As the manager, I am responsible for everything, so I have to have my eyes everywhere.
A Baby Shower Can Be Fun and Inexpensive

It seems like lately everyone who throws a baby shower is complaining about the cost. They end up renting out an expensive hall and paying a ton for the catering. All of that is money that they could have used to get gifts for the new baby. My cousin recently had a shower that was the most fun I’ve had and not very expensive. I Am Now Working at Home

I am very happy that my company has allowed me to work at home some days. When I found out that I was pregnant last year I was very worried that I would not be able to balance being a mother with my career. I am very happy to say that my company has been extremely helpful. After I took my maternity leave my company offered me a position that would allow me to work at home three days a week and two days in the office. This is very nice because even though I still have someone come and watch my son when I am working at home I am happy to be around in case there is an emergency or the nanny has a question. I just found out that I have a new electronic post to look at and so I better get back to work. Sometimes it’s difficult to not browse on the Internet while I’m working.
