Dear Friends,

 

It is with mixed emotions that we officially post the news that OR HADASH is no longer in existence.  We are so thankful to so many for the support and encouragement received since our inception in Dec, 2002.  For seven years, we excelled in achieving a true democratic ‘congregation’ - a place where every voice was not only heard, but was welcomed and appreciated! 

 

For seven years, we learned much, led with compassion, participated in an unprecedented (based on size and commitment) number of monthly and other ongoing tikkun olam projects, created meaningful  worship experiences and unique holiday celebrations and had the opportunity to work with the most wonderful of rabbis, thanks to the Reconstructionist Rabbinical School!

 

It is our hope that the positive experiences, social justice programs, creative multi-generational religious school, worship experiences that included discussion, song, and all areas of the arts, as well as our active involvement in building bridges of interfaith understanding will continue to serve as inspiration to others.

 

Our website will run through April, 2010...so we will leave our links and photos for those who wish to view them as an ‘online scrapbook.’  May we all savor and cherish the wonderful memories, our ongoing friendships and  the incredible lessons learned through our participation in OR HADASH!
